I like to consider myself as an optimistic realist.
Anything is possible, as long as we take the steps to make it happen.
Going through my own divorce, starting back in 2016, everything suffered.
My health, my kids, my businesses and of course my finances.

I really had no idea where to start or what to prioritise and I certainly had no real appreciation of how much work was involved in navigating divorce, let alone the costs involved (even the simple act of sending an email to my lawyer was crazy expensive!).
As an entrepreneur and business owner for many years, I was adept at throwing myself into survival mode, so that's precisely what I did.
Looking back on it, there is so much I would have done differently had I known how to deal with what was going on and the importance of being proactive.
Oh the benefit of hindsight!
